The store owner approached me with a goal: “Create a user-friendly and attractive website for a small online store selling clothing for kids up to 5 years old. Develop a brand identity that reflects the use of natural fabrics that are safe and eco-friendly.”

The target audience consists of parents who care about their children’s health and choose eco-friendly materials. They prefer minimalism, simplicity, natural colors, and an intuitive interface.

Here are the tasks I aimed to solve:

  1. Provide easy and quick access to information about the eco-friendly characteristics of the clothing.

  2. Develop smooth navigation across all devices.

  3. Create a pleasant and soft visual style that doesn’t overwhelm with information.

  4. Allow for easy online fitting and straightforward order placement through a personal account.

Stages of Work

[1] Audience Analysis and Segmentation

We collected feedback to identify needs and pain points and analyzed user behavior on the site.

[2] Brand Visual Code Development

This included creating a color palette, fonts, icons, and other elements to establish an atmosphere of safety and trust on the site. I worked on the images using artificial intelligence to focus on fabric textures, natural lighting, and the authenticity of materials while avoiding complexities with public images of children.

[3] Personal Profile
Parents can save their child’s data (sizes, height, color preferences). They receive notifications about new collections that match their preferences, along with a wishlist feature for saved items.

[4] UI/UX: Simple Navigation and Responsiveness

I prioritized intuitive organization of categories, clear calls to action, and smooth transitions between pages. I paid special attention to the ease of searching for products and placing orders, optimizing the purchasing process with hints and reviews.

[5] Online Fitting Room

This feature allows parents to see how clothing will look on their child, helping them make purchase decisions. Users can upload a photo of their child to the site.

[6] Capturing Attention and Building User Habits

To encourage regular interaction with the site, we offer personalized rewards and ensure customer engagement.

How the New Design Benefits My Client

  1. Intuitive navigation and a pleasant interface increase parents’ trust in the brand.

  2. The online fitting room boosts conversion rates due to the convenience of choice.

  3. A simple, visually clean website with natural colors makes parents feel they are caring for their children’s health while dressing them stylishly. This aligns with the key values of the audience. The user-friendliness, minimalist design, emphasis on eco-friendliness, and personalized approach make the site appealing to the target audience.

With this case study, I’m starting my journey in the community, and I aim to create useful and interesting content.
